The Zoom Filter Plate Washer is a dedicated device for fast automated washing of filter membrane microplates.

The Zoom Filter Plate Washer offers a rapid, hands free method to process 96- and 384-well filter bottom microplates. Easy keypad programmability gives the user control over functions such as wash volume, vacuum intensity and aspirate time. Selecting Wipe Plate will automatically blot the bottom of the filter plate immediately after washing to eliminate any cross contamination.

The Zoom Filter Plate Washer utilizesTitertek's proprietary dispensing technology, consisting of a direct dual syringe drive fitted with unique positive displacement syringes and precision 8- or 16-way dispensing manifolds. Thus, two distinct wash solutions may be dispensed sequentially without need of an external switching valve or both syringes dispense from the same wash container to maximize processing speed.

The entire liquid path of the Zoom Filter Plate Washer is made from chemically resistant materials. The instrument has been proven for difficult wash or reagent solutions including Liquid Scintillation Cocktails. Such delicate reagent addition takes full advantage of the built-in separate reagent dispenser.

Reliable filter plate evacuation is achieved by a specifically designed vacuum chamber connected to a dedicated vacuum system. A constant, high flow rate pump is operated in an open system which excludes the potential of a vacuum burst. The vacuum intensity is adjustable to facilitate low-vacuum applications such as bead based assays. The vacuum chamber allows safe sealing of filter plates from many vendors.
